The Jackson County Health Department is lifting a health advisory for the northeastern shore of Wamplers lake.
The health advisory was instituted July 22 due to a Municipal Wastewater Transmission line break, when untreated sewage entered Wamplers Lake in the area of 1500 Wamplers Lake Road.
Don Hayduk, Director of the Environmental Health Division, said that the geometric mean of the samples came back as 17.459, well below the water quality standard of 300.
Officials will be removing the postings around the area affected this afternoon.
