The Irish Hills Regional Chamber of Commerce is holding its annual Christmas Crawl from November 26 through December 17. Just pick up a Christmas list at participating locations (visit IrishHills.com for a complete list of stores), visit each of the 17 participating businesses, make a purchase then turn your list into the chamber to be entered into a drawing for $500!
There are so many fun holiday things to do in the Irish Hills this weekend, December 3 through 5, we are calling the first weekend in December, Holidays in the Hills. Choose from a charity track drive, a Christmas Gala, a Wine-TerFest, live music, a tree lighting, Santa visits, a parade, special discounts, toy drives, a Sip and Shop and lots more. Oh These Irish Hills! Christmas Gala
The 9th annual Oh These Irish Hills! Christmas Gala will be held on December 3, 4, and 5 at the Irish Hills Eagles, 9500 Wamplers Lake Road, Brooklyn. The event includes decorated Christmas trees, a silent auction, music, a performance by Savanna Rose Dance Studio, food and much more.

The Oh These Irish Hills! group is bringing back their Christmas Gala for the 9th year. This Gala is located all weekend long (Friday, December 3 through Sunday, December 5) at the Irish Hills Eagles on Wamplers Lake Road, Brooklyn. This event features a silent auction and shopping, children’s games, DJ trivia, food and fun! Go to OTIH.org for more information.
The Manitou Beach Christmas Lights Parade and Christmas Tree Lighting will be held Friday, Dec. 3 beginning at 6:30 p.m. The parade will feature local businesses, schools and civic organizations, and the Addison marching band. The parade will conclude with the annual Christmas Tree Lighting. Santa will also be available for photos and for individuals to share their Christmas wish lists. Businesses will be open until 8 p.m.
Michigan International Speedway
MIS Cares is hosting its annual Charity Track and Toy Drive, Saturday, Dec. 4, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Donate a non-perishable food item or a new, unwrapped toy in exchange for a drive around the track in your personal vehicle. The event supports the Brooklyn Food Pantry, St Mary’s of Good Counsel Parish Food Pantry, Jackson County Toys for Tots, and Lenawee County Toys for Tots.

Downtown Brooklyn is holding a Sip and Shop event during the Holidays in the Hills weekend on Saturday, December 4, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Cherry Creek Cellars is hosting its “Wine”Terfest on Saturday, Dec. 4, from noon to 9 p.m. Participants from noon to 5 p.m. may enjoy shopping a lineup of vendors, enjoy traditional German fare, acoustic music, Gluhwein (mulled wine), igloos and firepits. From 6 to 9 p.m. there will be live music in the beer tent.
The cover charge is $5 or donate a winter hat and gloves. Cherry Creek Cellars is located at 11500 Silver Lake Hwy., Brooklyn.
