The Napoleon Lady Pirate Volleyball team picked up their first win of the 2021 season Wednesday night at home, downing the Springport Spartans in four sets, 25-19, 26-28, 25-14 and 25-21.
Momo Hampton led the way for the Pirates with 11 serving points, 5 aces, 29 assists and 6 digs.
Kelsea Bradley and Ella Stage had 7 serving points apiece while Samantha Conway had a team high 11 kills and Emma VanPoppel 10 kills.
The Pirates are now 1-2 on the year, and open Cascades Conference action Wednesday, September 8, when they travel to Michigan Center to take on the Cardinals. On Saturday, September 11 they will host the Napoleon Invitational, then the Addison Panthers on Tuesday, September 14.
